This opening is for an experienced **Network Manager** to lead a large Northrop Grumman and subcontractors team on building a defensible, secure, modern, and efficient IT infrastructure for the USSOUTHCOM.

**This position will be located in Doral, FL.**

**Role and Responsibilities:**
The Network Manager serves as a team leader for support tasks involving engineering development, integration, interface design analysis, integration of infrastructure, and testing of software and hardware.

Network Manager duties will consist of but are not limited to:

+ Performs system-level design and configuration of products including determination of hardware, software, operating systems, and other platform specifications to meet project requirements while maintaining interoperability with existing legacy systems.
+ Plans large-scale systems projects through vendor comparison and trade/cost studies.
+ Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.
+ Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
+ Develops a relationship with all subcontractors to ensure they are included in all the plans listed above.
+ Negotiates, directs and approves work performed by vendor teams, plans, monitors, and address issues for all the subcontracted tasks.
+ Recruits and mentors team members for effective assimilation into the client and NG teams.

**Basic Qualifications:**
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
Possess a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
DoD 8570 certification (minimum Information Assurance Management IAM Level III).
Strong expertise in network design, configuration and troubleshooting.
Bachelor's Degree plus 10 years of experience.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
USSOUTHCOM or adjacent COCOM experience
A minimum of five years of experience supporting global network systems and subsystems; troubleshooting a wide range of Local Area Network (LAN), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), WAN, and network/service availability; and making recommendations for system fixes and enhancements.
A minimum of five years of experience leading teams of network operations/engineering staff with skills applicable to a complex full range of enterprise IT-related services and technical solutions program that spans cybersecurity and IT management.
A minimum of three years planning and executing local and long-haul communications.
Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field.
Demonstrated experience with risk management and making recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operation costs.
A minimum of three years working experience supporting and troubleshooting firewall appliances and rulesets and working with firewall solutions.
Possess a project management certifications such as PMP or equivalent Government certification
