Job summary
Amazon Student Programs hires thousands of early career talent around the world each year, requiring a coordinated effort between recruiters, program managers, and hiring teams globally.

We are actively seeking an innovative and methodical leader to build, maintain, and optimize our internal knowledge sharing and training practices. This leader and their team will build our capacity to rapidly deliver on behalf of candidates and provide critical inputs to onboarding and developing our workforce. Ensuring that Student Program employees and stakeholders have the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve our mission and deliver against our goals, is foundational to our success.

This leader will need to excel at leading without authority, partnering with customers and stakeholders to align strategies and level-set on expectations, and operate with a high-level of autonomy to gather data, perspective, and be at the forefront of how information is shared and flows throughout the organization.

This person will lead a small team compromised of Learning Experience Designers, Technical and UX Writers, and Program Managers. The team will help ensure that employees throughout Student Programs are able to easily locate and access information needed to fulfill the responsibilities of their roles and that the right mechanisms are in place for upskilling and reskilling our workforce.

Prior experience in Internal Communications, Corporate Training, and Knowledge Management is highly preferred.

Key job responsibilities
€¢ Make recommendations which right-size customer needs against business realities
€¢ Develop methods of inspection to ensure our strategies are appropriately implemented and delivering results
€¢ Ensure customers, stakeholders, and program contributors have a seat at the table and are in-the-know as changes are conceptualized and implemented
€¢ Develop long-term communication plans that tie multiple communications together into broader strategies
€¢ Research, collect, synthesize, write, and edit communications with an obsession for quality, accuracy, and engagement
€¢ Work across teams to mine content that can be tailored and repurposed for our global audience
€¢ Multitask and project manage communications in an environment with competing priorities and deliverables

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of experience in program or project management
· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
· Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
€¢ 3+ years of experience as a copy/content editor
€¢ HTML proficiency
€¢ Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, publish, and track communications
€¢ Experience defining program requirements and success metrics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

€¢ HTML, advanced skills
€¢ Experience with third party email creation and tracking tools
€¢ Analytical experience producing reporting and data-driven insights

€¢ The pay range for this position in Colorado is $140,000 - 187,900 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
