KPMG is currently seeking a Manager - Impact Hub to join our Environmental, Social and Governance practice


+ Manage a multidisciplinary team operating across the US firm under the direction of our US IMPACT Hub Lead to build out all aspects of our ESG market offerings including a range of industries to assist companies to better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with Corporate Sustainability and ESG

+ Support US IMPACT leader and IMPACT Hub Lead in building out detailed investment plans for the ESG program including financial planning and operating model; assist US IMPACT Hub Lead to manage and oversee $40-50M annual program investment which may include updating and monitoring of the ESG Advisory program investment, evaluating risks and issues, tracking spend and budget on a monthly basis to identify areas of potential under or over-spend, and following up with various project teams to gather updates on their respective workstreams

+ Serve as proxy to US IMPACT Hub Lead, responsible for management/driving of key actions post meetings and conducting appropriate follow-on work to ensure completion of activities

+ Act as the US IMPACT lead for collaboration and integration with other global and regional initiatives as well as coordination with the EMA Hub and other large member firms including the UK, Germany and Australia

+ Design and co-lead the standing ESG team meetings including the various stakeholders; coach and develop junior team members

+ Own and drive two to four projects/initiatives within ESG project scope and roadmap, managing working teams to deliver on time, on budget; support the creation of ppts, communications, and other deliverables for various stakeholder groups for regular updates on progress, awareness sessions, roadshows, and roll-out activities; help the US IMPACT hub with other ad hoc activities such as managing pipeline/ bookings/revenue data collection and reporting, knowledge management, and PMO related activities


+ Minimum eight years of relevant professional experience in management consultancy, program management, digital transformation or comparable areas including at least 1one year of direct experience in sustainability and ESG

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Economics, Accounting, Sustainability, Engineering, Climate Science, Applied Sciences or related field; master's degree in a related field strongly preferred

+ Strong current knowledge of key ESG topics ranging across ESG strategy, reporting, operational initiatives, data and technology; extensive experience in ESG-centric project management including planning, organizing, coordinating and managing efforts to build out cross-functional ESG capabilities and solutions; excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations

+ Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, global team environment requiring coordination across multiple time zones and strong relationship building across a team of global stakeholders; proficient in MS Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Teams is required; fluency in either German or French strongly preferred for interactions with key ESG team members in the EU

+ Ability to travel, including potential international travel, on an as-needed basis
