This position supports the Defense Logistics Agency in providing consumable material solutions for Raytheon systems. This position will manage the profit and loss of a commodity focused Team responsible for providing responsive consumable material proposals and material. This position will report to the DLA Spares Program Area Manager.
Additional position responsibilities include:
Performs a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks of customer requirements in support of procurement workflow.
Coordinates and monitors workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned program area.
Working from programs/project status reports, work or delivery schedules and/or manifests, checks and verifies data, identifies items to be posted, identifies related areas that are affected and records information.
Analyzes and reconciles data and investigates inconsistencies.
Prepares reports and summaries.
Replies to Customer inquiries.
Draws attention to important items and actual or potential problems and assists in developing solutions.
Analyzes and aggregates Customer supply/demand requirements.
Analyzes lead times and identifies critical path procurements.
Develops in-depth understanding of internal and/or external customer-requirements, preferences, and working styles.

Monitors resources required to support Customer requirements.

May develop project objectives, priorities, and staffing requirements for and with customers.

Coordinates and maintains regular internal and external communication between OEMs and the Customer.
Acts as a true customer advocate while also managing customer expectations: anticipates customer needs and prioritizes according to available resources; listens to and understands customer complaints, and ensures responsiveness to those issues.

Measures and manages individual and overall customer satisfaction.
Program-Specific Tasks
Manage pre-award tasks including the following:
Review and disposition solicitations in Maximo
Review and approve gate packages
Work with contracts on negotiations
Review and approve new contracts

Manage post-award tasks including the following:
Prepare kickoffs for new awards
Track projects from contract award through contract completion
Hold weekly IPT meetings to discuss program execution for all active projects
Prepare PMR/IPR files monthly and present to management
Manage risks and opportunities for all projects
Work with contracts to ensure contractual requirements are being met for all projects
Coordinate with all functions through project execution to ensure all aspects of the project are being executed in a timely manner

Responsible for programs AOP including booking, profit and sales.

Must have the ability to communicate effectively while working directly with the Customer in identifying data requirements. Must possess excellent people skills
in maintaining favorable relationships required to meet production requirements required by the customer. Candidate must be qualified to obtain a U.S. passport as this position will require travel in support of day-to-day requirements directed by the Program Area Manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected and will be a direct report to the Program Area Manager.

Additional tasks include but are not limited to:

Utilize software to generate metrics and develop actionable recommendations.
Provide support to research team or management by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results.
Develop a means of communicating information pertinent to the management of Raytheon spares procurements to the Customer.
Represent Raytheon to the Customer as required.
Required Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Must be able to work well with others in cross-functional teams to collect data, formulate programs and implement solutions to improve service to support the Customer.
Understanding of military logistics requirements processes.

Desired Skills:
Six Sigma, Lean Logistics or like certification
Military Acquisition
Program/Project Management

Required Education (including Major):
A Bachelors Degree and 8 years of relevant experience.

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
