**Description** :
The Program Integration Test and Launch (PIT&L) center and the Assembly, Test, and Launch (ATL) team are looking for an Offsite Integration and Test Manager. Offsite Integration and Test Manger is expected to be the point of contact for all integration and test offsite operations for the program. Planning and execution of all program executed and coordinated offsite activity will be the responsibility of the selected candidate. Position leads both engineering and operations teams from mechanical, electrical, and payload sub-projects. Role requires hardware, facility, and teammate knowledge. Position will require creation of and management of integrated and highly inter-related schedules helping to assure timely completion of delivery and offsite milestones. Position reports directly to the I&T Project Manager. This lead role communicates regularly with project, program, and customer senior leadership.

The Offsite Integration and Test Manager must be comfortable with high-pressure, high-visibility situations where informed and decisive decision making is required. Candidate must be able to build trust and empower a diverse team in all situations. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to solve complex problems is required. The chosen candidate must be able to work with little direction and be a quick problem solver. This position will require leadership and communication with technicians, engineers, managers, and senior leaders from both the program and customer teams.

**This position requires significant extended travel for several days to several months at a time and could exceed 50% in any given year.**

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree plus 9 years of engineering experience OR Master's Degree plus 7 years of engineering experience.
+ Proven leadership experience on a project and/or team.
+ Experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
+ Candidate must have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government SCI Access with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Master's Degree in STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math)
+ Prior experience with integration and test of space hardware
+ Prior experience in an offsite operations capacity where delivery and system validation of complex hardware was required
+ Ability to travel greater than 50%
+ Effective communication and presentation skills.
+ High proficiency in technical problem solving.
