Position description
Receives direction from the Director, Digital Analytics-SEO-Optimization, Mayo Clinic Global Business Solutions (GBS). Manages one or more programs as assigned within the work unit including Digital Analytics, Engineering, Compliance/Data Privacy, BigQuery and data platforms.

This position is responsible for managing the Compliance and data/privacy program, procedures, policy development, and staff. The Digital Analytics Manager is responsible for managing and mentoring team members, direct reports, contractors as well as hiring new staff within assigned area. Assigns and tracks work, provides performance evaluations and feedback to maximize individual and team effectiveness. This position will work collaboratively within the Digital Analytics-SEO-Optimization team and with cross-functional teams and internal enterprise and vendor stakeholders to understand their needs, translate business requirements into data requirements, build estimates and solution design requirements documentation and assign work to engineers, analysts or other staff in the team. This position will lead in the development of programs, procedures, policies, supporting projects, strategy development or other tasks as assigned. Will develop and facilitate training programs, advance and evolve intake system development, oversee workflow of the team where multiple projects and activities/deadlines are happening within a rapidly changing environment. Leads or participates on committees, presents program recommendations, data and analysis to leadership groups. Assigns work and manages that work to tight deadlines; ensuring quality deliverables. Assigns analysts to ad hoc requests, short term initiatives in combination with long-term projects. Follows and advocates for best practices in Digital Analytics-SEO-Optimization, Engineering, Compliance/Data Privacy, tag governance, GDPR standards and guidelines. This person will promote a risk-aware culture; ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes. This position will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and analytics analysts, engineers, contractors and vendors. This person will educate and evangelize the value proposition of Digital Analytics, SEO, Optimization, Engineering standards and best practices, Compliance and data privacy for data-driven decision making, advocating for risk averse data collection practices and compliance measures. Manages budget for assigned focus within the work unit. Functions independently and demonstrates judgment in delegating and in handling delegated responsibilities. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing or other degree.

4 years' experience in program, roadmap and strategy development, designing implementation and operational support plans and strategies, and presenting analytics, engineering, optimization, data collection risk mitigation and compliance strategies, conducting technical audits and RFPs.

4 years' experience managing, mentoring and/or leading analytics team members, vendors, consultants.

4 years' experience leading large and complex projects.

Experience with reporting, data analysis, developing solution design requirements, and working with measurement platforms such as Google Analytics 360, BigQuery, Firebase, Optimizely, Ensighten, Tealium, ObservePoint, Tableau or other data platforms required.

4 years' experience with Digital Analytics. Must have demonstrated leadership skills. Understanding of big data platforms is required. Strong project management skills and the ability to own/manage complex analyses end to end.
Understanding digital web, mobile app channels. Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing techniques and best practices. Understanding of search engine optimization. Strong understanding of SEM, Social Media and eCommerce. Experience with debugging tools, data visualization tools such as Tableau. Experience working with CMS environments such as Sitecore and WordPress. Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration. High level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access. Excellent quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills. Strong communication skills to effectively deliver presentations as well as communicate clearly and concisely in writing. Must exhibit strong leadership and project management skills. Able to motivate department to deliver excellent service and meet customer expectations, meet goals and objectives, within scheduled time frame. Ability to initiate and drive projects, tenacity to deliver results in a complex environment and to manage work across multiple projects. Ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and reporting solutions in order to analyze data, interpret results and recommend solutions to enable teams to make decisions around optimizing or understanding product investments. Keen problem solving abilities. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities. High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access and Outlook. Must be self- motivated. Experience developing collaborative relationships and partnerships with business and technology departments that drive business results, including the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences

Additional qualifications
Advanced Digital Analytics, SEO, TMS, Compliance/Data Privacy/GDPR, A/B testing or conversion rate optimization experience and knowledge preferred. Project Management experience a plus. SQL and big data mining experience A/B Testing Experience onboarding digital analytics for web, mobile, voice or IoT devices. Prefer candidates with in-depth experience managing Digital Analytics and A/B tools and leading deployments. Candidates with certifications in Google Analytics 360, Optimizely, ObservePoint, BigQuery, Ensighten TMS and Privacy or other related tools preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills, experience implementing reporting solutions, and understanding of data warehousing environment is expected. Experience serving in a consultative business intelligence or outcomes role (e.g. evaluating and recommending new approaches, methodologies and tools for data driven decision making and planning) is desired. Successful candidate will have experience managing the use of analytical tools and methodologies. Prefer candidates who have in-depth experience with reporting tools and delivering business intelligence solutions.

Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.  The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3,553 based on a full-time position.
