KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Audit Project Management to join our Business Process Group organization.


+ Demonstrates solid understanding of how the Project Management function supports the audit and impacts the business; Capable in measuring success of Project Management program on the engagement team; Successfully demonstrates ability to measure and adjust their PM strategy and approach throughout the engagement cycle to meet changing needs and dynamics of the team/project

+ Exhibit consistent understanding and practice of PM methodology (project cycles, core knowledge areas, industry standard tools and techniques); Implements and supports the national PM strategy at the local level, including leveraging the specialists and offshore teams

+ Oversees the implementation of firm standard project management policies and procedures; Drives effective communication within the team, with client management, internal specialists and other offices

+ Utilizes data to provide insight, direction and recommendations to engagement team leadership on the allocation of audit resources to successfully deliver the audit

+ Experienced in performing and creating: project business case, current state assessments, stakeholder analysis, stakeholder management plan, communications management plan, governance structure, project risk assessment; create project proposals, charter and other formal supporting project documents

+ Support PM staff on engagement team and manage remote PM resources; Support the onboarding of new PM Team employees


+ Minimum six years of professional experience in project/program management required

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

+ Familiarity with financial audit cycle and/or public accounting required; PMP certified preferred, familiarity with Lean methodology preferred

+ Demonstrates proficiency in reporting and analyzing complex data sets; Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint, Power BI), Launchpad (or similar), SYNC, Alteryx, and PM tools preferred

+ Strong organizational skills and meets deadlines; strong verbal and written communication skills, work ethic and interpersonal skills

+ Demonstrates conflict resolution skills and provides strategic solutions
