Fieldglass, an SAP company, provides a cloud-based Vendor Management System (VMS) to manage contingent workforce and services procurement programs. More than 300 customers leverage Fieldglass to gain visibility into their external workforces, including contingent labor, services managed through Statements of Work and independent contractors while optimizing spend, quality, compliance and efficiency.

Manager, Account Services


The Operations Consultant Manager, Account Services is responsible for leading and developing a team of Operations Consultants to ensure the ongoing success between Fieldglass and our clients. The OC manager is accountable for hiring, managing, and collaborating with Account Mangers and Sr Managers to assign appropriate resources to support projects, as well as defining and enforcing process and best practices. Although this person does not directly support account services projects, the individual should be able to demonstrate relevant contingent workforce management knowledge within the VMS space. Responsibilities include managing and developing staff by:


  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, training, and performance evaluation of direct-reports
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee morale, performance, productivity, and retention
  • Evaluate project needs, review resource capacity and competency, and provide Sr Managers with details on allocation of resources to projects based on skills, availability, and developmental need
  • Regularly track and monitor direct reports project utilization
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure appropriate level of support for customers/partners
  • Meet regularly with direct reports to discuss professional development and career goals
  • Provide guidance for project related questions and advise on how to best navigate through project challenges
  • Collaborate with department leads throughout the organization to ensure optimal processes are developed, documented and followed
  • Conduct employee reviews and provide feedback regularly
  • Regularly monitor progress of projects and ensure project status is tracked appropriately
  • Identifies and resolves issues critical to client projects; engages Account Manager to ensure that client issues are managed in an efficient manner.
  • Serve as internal escalation point for business or project related issues. Account Managers will facilitate communication with customer or partner until resolution and set appropriate expectations

Were Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer or information science, mathematics, engineering, management information systems or related course of study
  • Expertise in MS Office tools: Excel/Word/Access/PowerPoint
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills along with strong planning and organizational skills, and very strong interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills, including a track record of successfully providing leadership within project teams is required
  • Having an ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals within Fieldglass, the client organization, and any applicable vendors is necessary
  • Individuals who are highly organized, yet can work in a flexible, fast-paced environment, have the ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Extensive knowledge of the Fieldglass software or CWM industry experience, and possess an enthusiasm for leading a team and developing individuals
