**Northrop Grumman Mission Systems sector is seeking a Manager 1, HVACR Maintenance and Repair for the Tool Control team within Manufacturing Engineering.** The position requires a motivated, dedicated, and visionary leader to meet the demands of an exciting new culture. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Tool Control Group supporting the refrigeration equipment maintenance department within Manufacturing. This group is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing environment **equipment such as cascade chambers, cooling carts and refrigeration HVACR systems and controllers.**

**Areas of responsibility will include:**

+ Direct the team of electrical, air-conditioning, heating, electronics, HVACR /cascade refrigeration mechanics, equipment controls programmers, remote monitoring systems and/or other related trades
+ Set priorities, manage department goals, manage budgets and overtime
+ Supervise 10-20 maintenance technicians (employees and/or outside contractors) who maintain and repair equipment
+ Oversee the priority scheduling of all service work, including "rush" jobs, routine repair jobs, and preventative maintenance
+ Document and track tasks including tickets and repair status
+ Calculate heating and cooling capacities to assess the need to upgrade or modify existing equipment
+ Document and standardize task and efforts
+ Manage represented (union) employees and interact with Labor Relations
+ Work within design requirements and safety procedures
+ Provide training/instruction on new or modified equipment or procedures
+ Maintain all equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly condition
+ Work to company policy, business conduct, and standards
+ Receive, interpret, and relay information, both written and verbally, in a concise and effective manner across various levels of stakeholders

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ High school Degree/GED and 9 years of relevant experience; candidates with an AA degree need only 7 years of relevant experience, candidates with a Bachelor's degree need 5 years, and candidates with a Master's degree need 3 years
+ Experience working in a maintenance environment
+ Experience working in a represented (union) workforce
+ Management or Supervisory experience

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ A universal CFC recovery license and a Masters HVAC license
+ Experience in troubleshooting and repair of cascade chambers, cooling carts or refrigeration HVACR systems and controllers
+ Experience establishing and tracking performance metrics, issue tickets and dispatch resource allocation
+ Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
+ Experience working in a DoD manufacturing maintenance environment
+ Experience leading and managing a represented work force of 10 or more people
+ Experience with Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) with Calibration planning and execution
+ Experience managing and maintaining internal and external suppliers , spare parts and tools for repair and maintenance tasks
+ Experience with SAP, Maximo, MC and shop floor maintenance control systems
+ Excellent interpersonal communication skills
+ Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance. This requires US Citizenship.


Salary Range: $85,800.00 - $128,600.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
