Every day she listens to thousands of people talking to her about different topics in different languages, and she needs our help to make sense of it all.

ASK is looking for ML Data Associate III in the area of speech and language data processing. We are seeking an experienced ML Data Associate III to join our team in Seattle to help create, label and curate the data that are required to measure our accuracy of 3P skills at scale , build new Alexa features, and develop innovative new techniques and approaches in partnership with internal customers. You should feel comfortable refining and scoping ambiguous requests, and driving clear deliverables throughout project life-cycle. The ideal candidate is skilled at process development and documentation, as well as stakeholder management. In ASK, agility and creativity are key to winning customer trust; you will be prepared for the unexpected and will be used to adapting your plans to handle it. You will provide training, mentorship, skills development, and other support for ASK L2/L3 team members, as well as driving team and project-level success through support of internal process development and individual project owners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor€™s degree or commensurate industry experience
· Experience working in complex and frequently ambiguous spaces; making sense of customer need and being able to frame that as clear requirements.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including: experience liaising with customers and/or internal stakeholders; facilitating meetings and driving progress on follow-up actions; demonstrated experience writing end-to-end SOPs and other process documentation; ability to communicate in alignment with and drive clear program messaging both internally and external to ASK
· Strong, €œthink big€ problem-solving and organizational skills; ability to proactively identify areas for program improvement and autonomously create/drive solutions through data-driven results
· Proven experience of delivering multi-faceted projects, effectively juggling competing priorities
· Flexibility; delivering results in a fast-paced and complex work environment
· Able to work under tight timelines with minimal supervision
· Hands-on, €œroll up your sleeves€ mindset

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
· Prior experience with agile processes (e.g. Scrum) and/or project management
· Project planning experience, including project scoping, deadline-setting, backlog maintenance, reporting
· Capacity-planning experience, including forecast documentation, long-term planning
· Experience working with machine learning / AI / natural language understanding data
