The AWS Worldwide Revenue Operations - Enablement, Training & Communications organization is seeking an imaginative, adaptable, and self-starting Learning Experience Designer to create effective, scalable, and engaging learning experiences that are used by Field Sales teams. In this role, you will own or contribute to development of high-quality materials for Instructor-led, Virtual Instructor-led, and Distance/Self-Directed training programs.
The right candidate will be comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The candidate should be a creative problem solver who is meticulous, customer-obsessed, and open to receiving/providing impactful feedback. They must also be willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.

LOCATION: Preference for this position to be in Arlington, VA USA but open to these additional locations: Dallas, TX USA - Boston, MA USA - Seattle, WA USA. Relocation assistance available from within the United States.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Translate business needs into training curriculum and enablement content in support of techinical and non-technical managers and leaders.
· Lead needs analyses to highlight current gaps in order to improve individual and organizational performance.
· Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to build effective training and measure impact.
· Use project management tools to manage medium to large scale content development projects.
· Ensure adult learning principles and systematic instructional design are applied to all learning solutions.
· Develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning including social or connected learning strategies, and multimedia based assets.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years direct experience designing and developing training materials and content to include creating instructor-led materials, online/e-learning modules, job aids, and assessments (Articulate360 products are preferred).
· 3+ years of experience using video editing tools and eLearning development software
· 3+ years of experience leveraging learning management systems and/or other content delivery platforms
· 3+ years experience using data, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve individual and organizational performance.
· 3+ years strong project/program/product management experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years experience working within global companies and within global sales training/enablement organizations.
· Master's degree in Adult Learning, Training & Development or related field.
· 3+ years experience successfully utilizing video editing software (Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Final Cut or similar)
· An innovative big-thinking, high-energy individual with a sense of humor and ability to work with a wide range of personalities will thrive in this role.
