Performs a lead role on the team while working alongside the warehouse staff laborers. Plays a lead role in providing equipment for all shows. Spends more than 50% of the time performing the same work as the team they are leading.


+ Lead dock labor at the warehouse by assigning qualified personnel to perform work to be done.

+ Adhere to safe operations practices to reduce and control safety violations.

+ Lead loading and unloading warehouse dock operations.

+ Lead installation and dismantle of General Jobs.

+ Assist with adherence to DOT regulations, and proper Fleet Maintenance.

+ Professionally interact with customers, sales, operations staff, and vendors in order to provide the best customer service experience.

+ Ensure that equipment and tools needed to operate in the warehouse is in place and ready for use. Advise warehouse manager of any additional equipment needs that may arise. Remove malfunctioning equipment from service.

+ Works to support the Office and Show Site operations.

+ Ensure that labor needs have been requested and submitted.

+ Ensure that warehouse is kept clean and free of debris or other safety hazards.

+ Follow set hours of operation and labor at the warehouse.

+ Ensure that warehouse labor costs are kept to a minimum without sacrificing service to customers.

+ Produce accurate and timely payroll forms and time cards for hours worked at the warehouse.

+ Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by Freeman.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.


+ Minimum one (1) year of lead/supervisory experience

+ Must be able to use small hand tools

+ Must be able understand and use basic math skills - adding subtracting, multiplying, and dividing

+ Must be able to understand and utilize proper and safe operating procedures

+ Must possess intermediate Computer Skills

+ Must have ability to drive straight trucks.

**Minimum Requirements**


+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.

+ Two years of trade show or related experience is required.

+ Demonstrated problem solving and interpersonal skills.

+ Must be able to work in a team environment while being an independent thinker.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Familiarity with safety and security measures for proper care of an operation.

+ Excellent customer service skills.

+ Should be familiar with: Office software applications including but not limited to email, Microsoft

+ Word and Excel, TSS and Concierge Elite.

+ Must be able to perform basic computer functions including the following: completing on line reports, printing, posting, running inquiries, and performing data entry.

+ Should be familiar with: TSS Freight Reports, Exhibitor Kit Forms, Floor Plans, Load Lists,

+ Manifest, MHAs, Incident Reports and Claim Forms.

+ Must be able to pass the MVR screen.
