POSITION SUMMARY:


This position will be working on site at the Nuveen office in Downtown Chicago, IL.


Relocation assistance may be available based on location and experience.


Telecommuting and remote work is not available for this position.


Nuveen is looking for a Lead Salesforce Administrator to join its CRM IT Team and contribute to Nuveen's Salesforce implementation and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will work with business and IT leadership to implement complex Salesforce solutions. Key responsibilities include managing Salesforce development and resolving support issues. Candidate is also responsible for providing technical guidance to development staff. This would be a great opportunity to grow your career!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions
  • Effectively collaborate with technical leads and other development staff to accomplish project deliverables
  • As needed develop triggers, classes, lightning pages & components, custom objects, workflow rules, flows, and process builders
  • Daily CRM administration including user management, roles, profiles, security, customization of objects, fields, record types, and page layouts
  • Provide end-user application support
  • Create and maintain technical documentation; follow group development best practices
  • Perform unit and system testing of code, configuration components, and integrations

QUALIFICATIONS:


Required Skills:
  • 3 or more years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • 3 or more years of experience with Apex and Visualforce/Lightning components.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 or more years of experience using Source Code Control.
  • 3 or more years of experience using continuous integration, deployment automation, and metadata comparison.
  • 2 or more years of experience developing with all of the following languages and/or tools; SQL, Java/J2EE, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, WSDL
  • Asset management or financial services industry experience
  • Understanding of Sales, Marketing and Service business processes
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and conceptual skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with multiple Salesforce.com implementations
  • Experience integrating Salesforce.com with enterprise-level applications
  • Experience with AppExchange applications such as Pardot, Cvent, Seismic, Conga, Rollup Helper
  • Experience with ETL tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, etc... )
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with defect management and testing automation tools

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
