In this position you will be provided with on-the-job training and learning experiences. You will conduct preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, service, troubleshooting and repair of SMT/Semiconductor assembly equipment.
  • Associated with that responsibility, will be interfacing with Manufacturing and Engineering to facilitate solutions to problems
  • Communicate issues and document findings via Repair and Maintenance electronic system
  • Support continuous improvement at the Richardson facility through participation in the rapid problem solving process, initiation and implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) & challenging themselves and others to continuously look for ways to do things better
  • Work compressed work week (12 hour days)
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures (safe work practices)
  • Participate in project teams
  • Resolve technical issues
  • Equipment troubleshooting/Repair
  • Test equipment
  • Identify parts for replacement
  • Participate in formal training
  • Preventative maintenance


    • 2+ years of experience as a Semiconductor Equipment Technician
    • 2+ years of experience with wire bond, die attach, screen print, SMT chip shooter, and automated dispense equipment and board level troubleshooting experience
    • 2+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

      • Knowledge of Lean and 5S is highly desirable
      • Independent thinker that can make most decisions on their own, follow directions, and seek management assistance when needed
      • Be able to lift minimum of 25 pounds.
      • Work in a fast paced environment.
      • Attention to detail and ability to following instructions
      • Ability to complete work as taught and follow up
