Lead Fulfillment Specialist Containers & Engines

Role Summary:The Lead Fulfillment Specialist for Containers & Engines manages the forecast, procurement, fulfillment and inventory of engine containers to facilitate shipping of Aviation gas turbines to the Aero Alliance and end customers. The role owns and manages various processes for new engines including the purchase orders and inventory, shipping and billing processes.



Essential Responsibilities:

As the Lead Fulfillment Specialist, you will:







+ Forecast, plan and procure containers to support Aviation new engine production schedule and customer forecasted needs, 150+ containers annually (~$6M). Utilize Aero Alliance & GE systems (iProcurement, Oracle Foxtrot, Perceptive, Finance workflows, etc.) to issue and maintain purchase orders to suppliers; receive invoices from suppliers and route for payment; add/liquidate inventory to appropriate channels/finance accounts



+ Be responsible for location, logistics, and tracking of Aero Alliance owned engine containers including timely completion of the Annual Container Physical Inventory working closely with the global Aero Alliance Operations and Finance Teams, & GE sites. Resolve container customs issues.



+ Develop and implement an accurate and up to date tracking process for all inbound / outbound containers and locations



+ Manage balance of new vs refurbished for lowest cost



+ Work closely with finance to manage and drive improvements in container management of the ~$5M in inventory and ~$11M of ELTO and fixed assets (shop support)



+ Work with engineering and Champion container supplier to resolve quality issues and implement new design requirements



+ Work with new engine fulfillment team to manage POs from channels and to create/manage POs from JV to Aviation including changes and amendments



+ Own and manage inventory transactions for new engines including sales orders and working with finance on timely/accurate billing



+ Own and manage all new engine shipping documentation and processes including certification; plus manage CTSI freight payments to Agility/JRC

















Qualifications/Requirements:







+ Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience of 4 years or more in materials management and/ or shop operations experience.

+ Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt)



+ Oracle ERP user background



+ Prior Materials Management, Production Control, or Sourcing experience
