KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Coordinator, Office Services to join our Operation Services organization.


+ Assist in planning and fulfilling operational support requirements and contribute to the goals impacting the specific area(s) of functional responsibility

+ Coordinate with local and/or next level ION leadership to support the local priorities, leverage resources and perform tasks; collaborate and engage with clients to further strengthening client relationships

+ Work with colleagues, both within and outside of ION, to respond to customer needs, deliverables and timelines; may participate in the development and implementation of local office initiatives such as space planning, living green, crisis management, etc. and may provide peer guidance/training and/or collaborate with others on work activities

+ Provide backup administrative and clerical support as needed and act as the local office new hire orientation coordinator

+ Help with the delegation of tasks, and guidance in executing work team goals and objectives; oversee the status, quality readiness of work products/projects and informs appropriate decision makers

+ Cross train in other office services disciplines for greater adaptability in handling situations as they arise, assume the role as the main point of communication between client groups, vendors and all departments within the firm in pre-planning and on-site projects; as lead for the hoteling program this position is responsible for directing the activities of others to improve utilization of space in Washington and provides support for the offsite DC ignition center and will be responsible for building and maintaining the relationship between KPMG and Monumental


+ Minimum three years of recent general office experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment; candidates with a background in Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Hotel Operations, Office Services, Business Services, Retail or Property Management will also be considered

+ High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

+ Familiarity with general office equipment and troubleshooting

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook, able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms

+ Ability to lift up to forty pounds

+ Flexibility to work overtime as needed, work is performed in the office
