Law Enforcement and Intelligence SME (General Job Description:

  • Working with subordinate management, responsible for planning, organizing and managing teams of analysts on a series of significant projects or a definable piece of a larger program for successful completion and performance consistent with contractual agreements.
  • Directs all resources for the performance of project assignments and activities.
  • Manages the intelligence design direction of a project through implementation and follow up in accordance with project objectives; also responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading or assisting with proposals.


  • Requires BA/BS with 10 years of experience with at least 4 years of management level responsibility. Incumbent has specialized knowledge in at least one area of expertise and a general knowledge in 1-2 other areas.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active TS clearance.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Federal Law Enforcement and Intelligence organizations and in managing mission and/or IT programs:

    • 5 years working with various Federal Law Enforcement and Intelligence based mission applications.

    • Proven experience with criminal case management, personnel background investigations, and protection operations.

    • Comprehensive understanding of the foreign affairs community and embassy operations.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in defining mission and operational requirements and then working with development and operational teams to understand those requirements to develop mission focused systems:
    • Possess experience in reviewing project team products and documentation and verify against mission and operation goals, objectives and requirements.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple project teams to provide Subject Matter Expertise in Federal law enforcement, intelligence and foreign service mission and operational requirements.
