L&D Project Analyst

Citi Learning and Development works to drive business performance by connecting employees with relevant and innovative learning experiences when and where they need them. The Business Associate is an intermediate level position responsible for the overall administrative activities of a business. These tasks may include providing management with an analysis and insight of Citis financial estimates in collaboration with leadership and Finance partners. The Business Associate may assist in activities such as the tracking of business financials, managing employee headcount or coordination of other administrative needs. May work on ad hoc projects as requested.


**Responsibilities:**


Business Management (70%)


+ Contribute to business management initiatives with a focus on standardizing and simplifying processes to make Learning a more effective and efficient organization.

+ Support monthly headcount reporting process and manage inquiry/related requests.

+ Interface with centralized staffing office on contractor hiring requirements and partner with business managers to forecast monthly headcount.

+ Identify and resolve problems and recommend process improvements to address root causes.

+ Provide support for Resource & Location Strategy (RL&S) initiatives.

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Operational Finance (30%)


+ Assist in managing the end-to-end annual budget planning process partnering with HR Leadership and Finance.

+ Lead monthly accruals and adjustments processes in collaboration with controller team.

+ Provide ongoing reporting and analytics support for HR Financials working with HR Teams to identify areas of concern, address needs, and mitigate risks.


**Qualifications:**


+ 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred or Project Management experience with budget responsibilities in lieu of relevant experience

+ Familiarity with basic accounting and finance principles OR procure-to-pay (P2P) systems and processes preferred

+ Advanced Excel expertise required

+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and a significant volume of diverse tasks while consistently delivering high quality work.

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to details.

+ Strong written and verbal communication.


+ Able to operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

+ Previous experience in a global organization preferred.
