Serves as a senior vice president for key management program responsible for planning and execution of projects in support of Citi's key, certification, and cryptography program. This includes governance, gap analysis, and requirements definition. The candidate will serve as a partner to other SMEs and stakeholders across Citi businesses. This position will report to the data protection program director and work closely with newly formed crypto center of excellence, key management center, and engineering teams.


**Responsibilities**


+ Develop and communicate a risk-based and data-driven governance strategy and roadmap for Citi data security program, in partnership with architecture, engineering, operations, information security officers, customers, and other stakeholders

+ Participates in formulating strategic direction for the organization covering cryptographic keys, certificates, protocols, and algorithms.

+ Maintain responsibility for project-related audits and controls

+ Performing complex analyses of comparative data, preparing, and presenting regional and global reports related to data security risk assessments, and monitoring of compliance related issues

+ Act to resolve issues which prevent effective team working, even during times of change and uncertainty. Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties

+ Coach others and encourage them to take ownership of their development

+ Define and implement security policies and standards, and provide periodic Information Security (IS) management reports

+ Provide security oversight for major system designs and monitor the implementation of approved Corrective Action Plans

+ Plan and implement IS administration for Information Technology (IT) projects, and plan short to medium term IS actions and resources

+ Contribute to the evaluation and selection of applications and systems, focusing on IS implications

+ Manage a large/complex team or multiple teams, including the people, budget, policy formation, and strategy planning


**Qualifications** :


+ 10+ years of relevant experience

+ Experience in compliance, risk management, legal or other control-related function in large financial firms

+ Experience in providing data security advisory services and experience with the development and enhancements to financial institutions internal controls

+ 5+ years of professional experience within data security including encryption, certificate lifecycle management, PKI implementation, access control, cryptographic key management

+ Experience in following domains: information security, risk management, project management, data protection, process improvements using a structured methodology to successfully plan, manage, monitor, and report

+ Management experience working in a complex matrixed organization and people leadership experience

+ In depth knowledge of encryption use cases and hands-on experience establishing an enterprise encryption infrastructure with at least one leading encryption product.

+ In depth knowledge of public key infrastructure (PKI), certificate management use cases and hands on experience establishing an enterprise certificate management infrastructure with at least one leading certificate management product

+ Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to embrace change without frustration

+ Excellent presentation and documentation skills deck writing, communication memos and gap analysis documents.

+ Demonstrated experience in managing professionals across multiple projects, recruiting, developing, and building effective teams

+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills; data driven and results-oriented
