Penn Medicine Princeton Health is looking for a Senior Business Analytics Analyst for the Performance Improvement area! The Senior Business Analytics Analyst will be responsible for the analysis and reporting of healthcare utilization data, financial and quality metrics performance to support the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Quality Officer and the Performance Improvement Department. Develops and maintains processes to support data collection, analysis, and reporting. Ensures the accuracy and reliability of the clinical and quality data systems. Provides metrics to monitor and trend performance. ¢\tPerforms applied analysis of integrated healthcare data, interprets results, and makes recommendations based on analytic findings to business areas.¢\tReviews claims data and EHR derived quality data to assess overall performance of the operations and to identify areas of opportunity and focus for improvement¢\tUtilizes data analytics software to interpret and transform the corporations data into consistent data formats to power dashboards, reports and presentations¢\tDefines and delivers analytical solutions in support of healthcare business initiatives that drive short and long term objectives.¢\tActs as the analytic lead for complex Quality projects involving multiple resources and tasks, providing individual mentoring in support of company objectives.¢\tResponsible for the collection and submission of data to support regulatory requirements (i.e. AHA application, Promoting Interoperability/Meaningful Use, The Joint Commission (TJC) quality measures, Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR)-eCQM, QRDA 1 Files, TJC annual application, etc.).¢\tCollaborates with stakeholders in the design and execution of analytic studies to answer business and research questions.¢\tPerforms applied analysis of integrated healthcare data, interprets results, and makes recommendations based on analytic findings to business areas.¢\tRetrieves, analyzes and presents data relative to clinical quality performance and physician performance.¢\tProvides consultation, statistical analysis and assistance with data interpretation.¢\tPerforms other duties as assigned to support the Quality Improvement Department and hospital-wide Quality and Safety Initiatives.¢\tCollaborates with IT Department to ensure the integrity of the data in the various analytics systems

Education & Experience Required: \n•\tBachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. \n•\tAt least 5 years of related work experience required. \n\nLicenses, Registrations, and Certifications: \n•\tCurrent involvement in professional organization such as HFMA preferred. \n\nRequired Skills: \n•\tProficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word required. \n•\tExcellent interpersonal, analytical, data collection, organizational, presentation, verbal and written communication skills required.\n•\tBusiness information analysis experience, preferably on both payor and provider sides required.\n•\tExperience with data analysis of medium to large datasets, use of analytic tools, IT systems, database design or data structures required.\n•\tWorking knowledge of EPIC and data analytics software such as Tableau, SAS, Vizient, Midas, and Power BI required.\n•\tPrevious information management and informatics experience required.\n•\tDemonstrated knowledge of related regulatory and industry reporting requirements such as AHA, TJC, and IQR required.
