Overview<\/h2>

i3 is seeking a Junior Cyber Analyst to support an Army Contract. The Junior Cyber Analyst will provide Software Configuration Management and Information Assurance expertise supporting software testing and information systems management. The Junior Cyber Analyst must have a customer centric approach and provide all levels of support for the user base community. Candidates for this position must possess, at a minimum, a United States SECRET level security clearance or eligible to obtain a secret clearance.<\/p>

Responsibilities<\/h2>
  • Create and maintain configuration management documentation for software test environments.<\/li>
  • Perform review and implementation of RMF policies, system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management.<\/li>
  • Maintain system documentation such as RMF Artifacts, SOPs, policies, and work instructions.<\/li>
  • Maintain version control and change control documentation for software development projects.<\/li>
  • Experience operating in a Linux or Unix environment.<\/li>
  • Assist with documentation of software peer review and code analysis activities.<\/li>
  • Understanding of Information Assurance (IA) systems and practices such as DISA STIGs, RMF and system hardening.<\/li>
  • Conducts system scans and track remediation activities to meet Army, DISA, DoD, and MDA compliance requirements.<\/li>
  • Perform security log reviews utilizing tools such as SCAP, ACAS, HBSS, Splunk, and others.<\/li>
  • Develop queries to review logs for continuous monitoring.<\/li>
  • Review HBSS for Events and rogue systems.<\/li>
  • Utilize HBSS, ACAS, and WSUS to provide reporting on compliance and patch levels.<\/li>
  • Evaluate and track software dependencies to ensure compliance with DoD approved software versions.<\/li>
  • Track software lifecycles to identify and plan for End of Support and End of Life.<\/li>
  • Submit and track Change Control Board requests.<\/li>
  • Assist in maintaining the integrity and security of servers, computers and network devices.<\/li>
  • Maintain hardware, software, and network inventory lists.<\/li>
  • Interact with users and evaluates security posture.<\/li>
  • Provide advice and training to end-users.<\/li>
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.<\/li><\/ul>

    Qualifications<\/h2>
    • Ability to work with little or no direct supervision and in a team environment.<\/li>
    • Must have Excellent Customer Service Skills.<\/li>
    • Strong policy writing skills.<\/li>
    • Good working knowledge of Information Assurance (IA) practices/procedures (DISA STIGs, RMF, HBSS).<\/li>
    • Strong DoD Security practices and knowledge, including COMSEC and facility security standards.<\/li>
    • Must have DoD 8570 IA Certification (Security+ CE).<\/li>
    • Secret Security clearance or higher or eligible to obtain a secret clearance. <\/li>
    • Bachelor Degree and 4 years experience or 8 + years equivalent experience.<\/li><\/ul>
