**Role Value Proposition:** The IT Vendor Contract Consultant, will serve as a key negotiator of strategic IT suppliers. S/he will lead negotiations, deal structure and benchmarking of complex deals resulting in cost savings and obtaining the highest value of goods and services. They will partner with IT stakeholders to assess their current and future needs to ensure the proposed license volumes/terms meet their needs. S/he will be key in the development of IT Software Category plan aligned to business objectives with a strategic approach to maximizes value, reduce risk and effectively manage the category.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Development of category strategy

+ Lead negotiations of commercial and legal terms of large complex global deals obtaining the highest value of goods and services

+ Perform market research and develop strategy of key complex deals

+ Responsible for providing expert advice & consultation of best practices and license use/terms to stakeholders

+ Provide day to day leadership/management of strategic supplier contracts. Partnering with asset management to ensure contract terms and asset information is current and valid.

+ Cloud Services negotiations advisor to Strategic Sourcing team and key stakeholders

**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**


+ 8+ years of negotiations experience

+ 8+ years of supplier selection (RF/x) and contract processes

+ Subject matter expert of licensing usage and terms Microsoft, Adobe and VMWare licensing

+ Knowledgeable of technology trends and impact to licensing terms specifically cloud services, digital transformation and robotics/automation

+ Demonstrated experience with financial acumen and business case development

+ Proficient communication skills at an executive level

+ Undergraduate Degree or equivalent


+ 1+ years experience with Ariba procurement systems

+ Knowledgeable of Jira project management system

+ 1+ years experience with Asset Management systems
