Responsibilities

Manages and leads overall IT Service Management (ITSM) activities to include planning, execution, and reporting. Establishes, manages, and maintains an ITSM environment and processes aligned to the latest IT Information Library (ITIL) framework to ensure ITSM requirements are achieved.

Performance Excellence Organization is chartered to provide strategic guidance, best practices, oversight, and subject matter expertise to ensure optimal Perspecta program performance and organizational operations. The organization's key functions include Enterprise Program & Performance Management, Continual Improvement, Program Startup, Transition and Delivery Assurance, Quality Management Systems/Corporate Quality Credentials, and FedRAMP 3PAO. Transition and Delivery Assurance (TDA) applies Perspecta's expertise and proven practices to provide positive Customer mission outcomes by ensuring commitments made during pursuits are deliverable through Transition and Transformation by utilizing people, process, and tools to successfully advise on: Best Practice and Processes for Transition and Transformation, Accelerated Delivery Planning (ADP), Employee Transition Planning and Execution, Knowledge Transfer (KT), Offering Implementation and Configuration for Customers, Process Handoff to Accounts and Operational Readiness Review (ORR). This role will have responsibility and accountability for all transition and transformation management activities associated with implementation of large-scale IT Outsourcing engagements. It will establish highly repeatable best practices, lead a team of technical subject matter experts, and personally lead execution of transitions to assure highly effective coordination and transition to steady state operations. Duties will also include participation in presales activity representing transition and transformation methodology and capabilities, articulation transition and transformation approach, and building critical client relationships required to understand the business environment. The successful candidate with have extensive experience leading operational delivery at a program level for IT Outsourcing engagements as well as strong project management experience leading delivery of complex global programs. Position may require travel.

Qualifications

Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.

- Bachelors degree in engineering, IT, business, applied sciences or finance preferred

- 12-15 years leading IT outsourcing multi-tower programs with direct responsibility with customer relationship management

- 5+ years leading implementation of IT outsourcing services in the public sector

- civilian, state and local, health, defense and intelligence community customers

- Direct operational leadership experience with data center, network, end user computing, service desk and network services

- 5+ years managing delivery of complex programs - Ability to travel up to 80% for engagements at customers site

- Business development and proposal presentation experience - shaping value propositions with customers, crafting solutions, driving proposals, and presenting to senior customer leadership

- Secret clearance is required

- TS/SCI clearance is desirable

- PMI/PMP is desirable

- Five (5) years of experience in DoD or Department of the Navy (DON) enterprise IT operations, three (3) of which shall be in service level management monitoring and reporting.

- In addition to the above, one (1) year of experience as an IT Service Manager within a DoD or DON environment supporting a minimum of 50,000 users.

- ITIL Expert certified
