ISO Lead Analyst Global Wealth

The Information Security Officer (ISO) Lead Analyst is a senior-level professional responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor, and respond to information/data breaches and cyberattacks. The ISO Lead Analyst will work as a trusted security advisor to the Global Wealth division within Citi to ensure solutions are developed in line with security requirements, align adherence to security policy, drive timely remediation of issues, facilitate security-related discussions, and develop reporting to provide consistent awareness of applicable groups security posture.


+ Establish relationships with cross-functional areas including Business, Technology, and Compliance stakeholders and serve as a subject-matter expert

+ Promote awareness and provide consistent interpretation of policy to technology teams and business personnel

+ Schedule, host, and drive meetings with multiple levels of management, from individual contributors to senior management

+ Escalate significant risks and concerns to applicable leadership

+ Partner with applicable stakeholders to ensure application security assessments, including vulnerability assessments, are completed and issues are remediated timely

+ Provide expertise in technological controls such as encryption, IDS/IPS, and secure server and desktop configurations to implement effective security solutions

+ Serve as a contact to report suspected or actual breach of confidentiality, integrity, or availability of Citi information.

+ Support investigations, as needed

+ Develop executive-level reporting and presentations

+ Manage risk by analyzing the root cause of security issues, determining compensating controls, and driving remediation

+ Perform risk assessments for their assigned business unit

+ Coordinate initiatives related to the supported businesses to drive alignment with Citis information security standards and processes

+ Support the awareness required security training and requirements with applicable business units

+ Coordinate with cross-functional counterparts and business teams to improve risk oversight

+ Provide security recommendations on projects, processes, risk exceptions, corrective action plans, and risk reduction initiatives

+ Attend and participate in internal forums and risk committees, as requested

+ Ensure non-compliant items are resolved through coordination with third parties and employees, as appropriate

+ Support Global Information Security policies, standards, and initiatives development and implementation

+ Increase communication efficiency with cross-sector ISOs and others within the security organization

+ Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Citi policies and standards

+ Ability to periodically work across different time zones and areas globally in an international environment


+ 5-7 years of Cybersecurity/IT experience

+ Demonstrated ability to apply IT-related knowledge and experience in solving security-related issues

+ Strong project management and organizational abilities

+ Advanced written and verbal communication, as well as presentation skills

+ Excellent leadership, teamwork, and client service abilities, including diplomacy

+ Proven analytics skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables in Excel

+ Experience working under minimal supervision

+ Maintain a no surprise, proactive awareness and communication channel to management regarding existing or emerging risk and issues


+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience

+ Certifications preferred: CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC
