IOT Field Sales Engineer, Inside Sales (French speaker)

Job Description

This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for:

  • Managing the relationship between Intel and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at accounts.
  • Develop relationships with distributors and engage distributor resources in support of assigned accounts.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Driving the adoption, sales & revenue pipeline for Intel's IoT RBHE (Retail, Banking, Hospitality, Education) business.
  • Helping ecosystem partners understand, adopt, and leverage the value of IA based RBHE solutions.
  • Ensure that goals are consistent with Intel's strategic direction of: (1) maximizing the business with assigned accounts over the short and longterm and (2) increasing the preference for Intel architectures among assigned customers.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned annual billings and design win quotas in conjunction with the Field Applications Engineer.
  • Communicate strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination.
  • Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics.


  • Degree in Business/Marketing/Engineering/Technology
  • Minimum 2-3 years' of experience in PC components/Computer Systems/IT Sales.
  • Good understanding of Internet of Things (IOT)/Embedded applications and market. Retail segment experience and Intel products/Architecture knowledge are considered as a strong advantage.
  • Capable of building strong, direct relationships with key decision makers including executives by demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and in depth knowledge of customer business needs Able to build great relationship with customers, mostly by phone/e-mail.
  • Hunt and develop a partner/SI ecosystem for generating demand and revenue for Intel's IOTG RBHE solutions.

Other skills/business acumen requirements:

  • Account manager/management experience and ability to quickly and effectively assess the customers' business model and goal(s) for growth with Intel products.
  • Demonstrable track record of working effectively with others to accomplish goals.
  • Self-starter, well organized with a passion to win is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Language requirements:

  • Fluent in spoken & written French and English
