Manage the marketing and communication for NorthAmerican strategic initiatives and business goals. Responsible forproviding day-to-daysupport for projects such as brand awareness, client acquisition, and employeeengagement.

  • Development of theNorth American content strategy and positioning

  • Create and manage aregional content agenda, work as an integral part of the global team as well aspartner with our 8 unique investment firms to capture and leverage our bestresearch and thinking.

  • Edit, write andproduce a wide range of content, in adherence to the wider team style and ethos

  • Creation of digitalcontent plan and multi-media distribution plan

  • Social media - managesocial media platforms together with the digital agency and in conjunction withthe editorial calendar.

  • Management bothinternal team members and external resources such as agencies and freelancewriters.

  • Framing, initiatingand tracking KPIs for Editorial materials

  • Working with UScompliance in projects such as support of global compliance procedures

  • Assisting with keyconference and event ideation and production

  • Strategic and creativethinker with attention to detail - ability to work independently

  • Strong organizationaland project management skills, including the ability to manage multipleprojects, changing priorities and key partners simultaneously

  • Extensive experienceat a senior level in marketing communications and campaign/content production

Experienced manager who manages a team of professionals who lead the planning and execution for a primary marketing and/or communications function in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals in addition to day-to-day support of brand awareness, client acquisition, client and employee engagement. Strong writing and communications skills.Establishes collaborative relationships with multiple business stakeholders and external partners to align activities to key strategic objectives.Develops and manages annual planning process and results reporting to primary business stakeholders. Determines and deploys team resources. Assigns ad-hoc requests, as needed. Involves others in decision making to secure buy in. Rapidly assesses and makes operational decisions.Subject matter expert. Active participation within Pershing and industry-hosted events. Studies the competition and communicates across business unit and with clients.Ensures standard operating procedures and policies are being adhered. Challenges the status quo to raise standards and common practices. Encourages diverse thinking to promote and nurture innovation.Promotes a sense of urgency and establishes individual accountability supporting functional or business initiatives. Persists in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles.Manages a large or specialized team of professionals or multiple teams, including coaching, performance management and resource allocation.Develops, monitors, and negotiates budgets.Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required12 + years of related experience preferred; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred
