Responsibilities:
We are looking for a motivated Environmental Intern to join our company. Duties and responsibilities vary based on level of experience and project expectations. An intern will generally shadow experienced professionals and participate as a member of a team by contributing to actual project design or field oversight. Interns are able to apply what they have learned “from the classroom” via experience based-learning.

This Internship position will be based in our Bangor, Maine Office.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a second or third year Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering major. Specific classes taken should include a mix of the following: drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, fluid mechanics, hydraulics, or soil mechanics. Any experience or interest in drinking water treatment, water distribution systems or utility construction is highly desired.

You will need to attach a professional cover letter, as well as your resume. Your resume should include your GPA as well as a sample of courses that you’ve taken at college. In addition, you must have a high school diploma to qualify for an internship.
