International Tax Compliance: Tax Sr. Lead Analyst

**Job Descriptions:**


+ Responsible for complex tax return coverages:

+ Review and preparation of tax forms: Form 5471, 8858, 1120, 8990,8992, and 8865.

+ Perform various consolidated tax reporting calculations.

+ Review tax system generated reports (FSI, GILTI, etc) and manage the outsourcing returns.

+ Complete respective Notices and Disclosures filings.

+ Lead and coordinate the ad hoc special projects for tax reporting groups

+ Prepare and review quarterly estimated tax payment and full year forecast analysis.

+ Assists in tax planning analysis for acquisitions, dispositions and reorganizations relating to the companys foreign operations.

+ Coordinate and execute IRS form filings in a timely manner

+ Preparation or review of technical memoranda

+ Review various E&P and Sch. M adjustments for compliance teams.

+ Continuing to standardize and improve the international tax reporting process

+ Research and model the tax impacts of planning strategies, tax regulation updates, and foreign tax topics

+ Review E&P and tax pool, perform tax basis study and E&P to RE reconciliation for various planning scenarios

+ Coordinate and review data collection process with various countries

+ Develop and maintaining a training program that will provide all team members with a common understanding of the applicable U.S tax law. Additionally, be part of the tax leaderships effort to develop and train tax reporting staff through their work experience.

+ Provide assistance for tax accounting, internal and external audit requests.

+ Participate and contribute to various country and regional coverage meetings and calls.


**Requirements:**


+ Demonstrates an ability to manage projects, including the preparation and review of complex and planning related tax returns, in a timely and efficient manner; anticipates issues, calculations, and analytics to be performed (i.e., be proactive and self-sufficient)

+ Ability to perform and review various calculations using raw data from ledger systems (i.e., Subpart F income, GILTI, etc)

+ Accepts accountability for the area of assigned responsibility.

+ Knowledge and understanding of recent tax law changes

+ Be able to apply in depth intl tax knowledge and perform project work independently.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively converse with direct and various tax group managers and local country financial personnel regarding the progress of assignments, including income tax return preparation and issues, recommended tax positions and special projects.

+ Demonstrates maturity, poise, and self-confidence in dealing with Citigroup personnel and willingness to pitch in and be a team player.

+ Ability to read and understand IRS tax codes, U.S. GAAP financial statements and general ledgers.

+ Prepares complete and organized work papers, including supporting documentation.

+ Utilizes available technology to its fullest advantage (such as Excel, Tax Series, FRS/DTax, and other general ledger reporting tools).

+ Manages resources effectively and works out conflicting priorities with other team members and managers


**Qualifications:**


+ Bachelors or Masters in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field

+ More than (10) years of intl tax compliance experiences, preferable at (a) Big four public accounting firms, (b) a Fortune 500 company, (c) a domestic financial services firm, or (d) Citigroup, or a peer financial institution.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office
