Job Description

This internship will be working in the Enterprise Architecture (EA) group, within the IT Governance, Information Security and Compliance department (GISC).  This position will work as part of a global IT Team focused on reviewing new technologies and implementing process enhancements and/or new architectural repositories for use by global stakeholders.

Project Overview & Objectives

Primary Project:

Update technical and architectural assessments via revision of decision and review criteria provided by multiple cross technical subject matter experts (e.g. Network, Server Management, Information Security, IT Quality/Regulatory, etc€¦).  In addition, learn and develop baseline Architectural Principals for these areas in alignment with the revised assessment criteria.  By completing a formal revision of the documented process, assessment templates and creating new templates/content for Architectural Principals, this will aid both Technical and Functional (business units) better understand various technical requirements for new technologies in an improved transparent approach.


  • Revised Technical Assessment Template and procedural documentation
  • Revised Architectural review template and procedural documentation
  • Creation and prototype, in at least one technical area, an Architectural Principal document
  • Earn valuable global experience, understanding critical interdependencies between multiple technical areas and the impact on project deployment and decision making.

    Skill Requirements/Preferences

    • Major = Comp Sci / CIS
    • Candidate should be actively enrolled in university degree program
    • GPA = 3.0 & higher
    • Proficient in Programming concepts
    • Keen abilities of identifying interdependent relationships between requirements and systems while understanding impact of issues
    • Experience with Office 365 suite of apps (Teams, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc..) preferred
    • Track record of leading project teams and/or planning educational/extra curricular activities (Student government, clubs and/or volunteer organizations)
    • Excellent communication skills and willingness to frequently interact with internal customers and business leaders
    • Strong analytical skills, quick learner & self-starter.
