We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse to join our team at University of Washington Medical Center on our 16-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The Inpatient Rehab unit (8N) is rated as the #5 for Rehabilitation in the nation, by U.S. News and World Report, and continues to hold CARF (Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) certification.

Nurses on 8N provide specialized nursing care to patients with the following:
Spinal cord injury or disease (including tetraplegia with mechanical ventilation)
Acquired brain injury
Stroke
Tumor
Amputation
Neuromuscular diseases
Musculoskeletal diseases
Solid organ, blood, and marrow transplants
Mechanical circulatory support devices (VADs)

Rehabilitation is provided by an interdisciplinary team composed of the patient and family and individuals from many health care disciplines.

Position is 97.5%, 12 hour night shifts (13 shifts/4 week schedule), and requires Washington State RN license,  1 year of current/recent med-surg acute care experience; acute care inpatient rehab nursing and CRRN preferred.
