Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks an Industry Value Advisor Manager at our office location in Newtown Square, PA to guide and oversee practice development projects showcasing industry expertise based on customer engagements and field experience.


Expectations and Tasks: Responsible for supporting the success of direct reports and the success of all employees within the larger team by helping to identify development opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. Coach team members on how to build and/or curate value proposition content aligned to end to end processes and key personas (CMO, CIO, CFO, and Head of Supply Chain) across the Intelligent Enterprise. Share insights / thought leadership across all relevant channels including social channels. Participate in enablement programs, community of practices, and/or Hubs to share knowledge. Oversee delivery of high-quality value content, experience management (XM) content, thought leadership and benchmarking as well as general market, industry, and line of business research related to SAPs customers and prospective customers. Define and evolve ongoing workflows between Global and regional/LoB XME teams to provide optimal level of support while maintaining high quality output. Manage operational action plans, establish work priorities, process structures, cost and quality goals. Drive business ownership of the next-generation value platform including benchmarking and business case capabilities. Ensure best practice sharing, knowledge management and continuous productivity improvement. Work closely with global program teams to drive enablement and new capability build across customer value programs. Influence global and local leadership, work with people, and drive towards common solutions and issue resolutions. Accountable for building leadership trust by providing clear and actionable feedback to team members and help them reach their maximum potential. Recruit, train, motivate, and ensure high engagement in the GXME India team. 10% travel required.


Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field of study and 7 years of experience required.  The company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience.


Work Experience: Experience must involve 5 years in the following: Value Management and Business case experience, including value selling methodology & processes, opportunities, value chain, and ecosystem analyses; Business case creation, analysis, and research; Business process and industry experience; Working with dynamics, KPIs and value chains within multiple industries; diverse technology landscape and process/technology integration topics experience; leading engagements; Coaching and leading direct or virtual, cross- functional teams; Experience in an industry and/or value role directly interfacing with customers; Program management including building benchmarking and best practice survey assessments,  piloting and scaling content programs, developing software tools to automate creation of benchmark, process assessments and business cases; managing high performing teams; Experience with offshore / outsource models; coaching and leading direct or virtual, cross- functional teams; and change management. 10% travel required.
