Position Summary

The Industry Strategy Lead for Manufacturing industry is responsible for developing the go to market strategy for Infor's Manufacturing solutions in Japan, being the industry champion in high profile accounts and driving growth through the creation of messaging and content and the effective enablement of Infor Sales and Partners.

Your Responsibilities Include

  • Creation of Go To Market plan to exploit market opportunities for Infor's manufacturing solutions in international markets based on solid market research and insight into the competitive landscape.
  • Develop messaging, positioning and tools at an industry level that provide a compelling and differentiated vision. Such tools may include presentations, sales plays, sales campaigns and tools, competitive insight, market research, customer case studies, co-innovation projects.
  • Create and participate in Infor Sales and partner training and enablement programs to ensure their deep understanding of key industry value messages and differentiators 
  • Partner with field sales teams to identify new sales growth opportunities for industry segments, develop account strategies and execute sales plays
  • Research and lead selected strategic customer engagements to assess business objectives, innovation scenarios, key improvement opportunities and other sources of significant economic value, on a foundation of Infor's industrial manufacturing applications.
  • Partner with Marketing in development and execution of Industry sales growth targets and sales plays, including speaker at events, subject matter expert for content creation and participation in external PR and inflencer activities.
  • Lead industry councils or other customer groups to gain input into Infor's product development roadmap for the manufacturing sector and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Industry advocacy to drive growth through building relationships with industry analysts, advisors, trade associations and other influencers.

        • Deep industry domain (minimum 5 years) with experience of enterprise applications and transformational programs.
        • Experience in core ERP / Enterprise Financials and at least three of the following additional application areas; Supply Chain, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Procurement, Enterprise Performance Management / Analytics, MES, IoT.
        • Exceptional communication, coordination and senior consulting skills
        • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations and business cases to customer senior executives
        • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams including Sales, Solution Consultants, Solution Architects, Deployment Services, Product Management, Marketing and external partners including System Integrators
        • Sales, Pre sales, Industry or Strategic Consulting experience
        • Business English language skills both in written and verbal
