Industrial Engineer Manager
Job DescriptionAs a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
- Plan, provide resources for direct activities in industrial engineering functions to meet schedules, standards with best flexibility and optimized cost.Â
- Drive tactical objectives and strategic initiatives in terms of equipment, space, and supply chain planning to enable factory’s efficiency at optimal cost.
- Cultivate and reinforce appropriate team values, norms and behaviors.Â
- Provide leadership, coaching as well as hands-on guidance on employee development, performance and productivity issues for team’s sustainable high performance.
Qualifications
- MS/BS degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in Industrial Engineering, Production Planning or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 3 years in management position with demonstrated experience in employee development & culture role modelling.
- A strategic and tactical thinker who could influence business processes and stakeholders while providing coaching/guidance to meet the best resolutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to negotiate and resolve conflicts within all levels of the organization to a win/win solution.
- Ability to tolerate ambiguity, having proactive approach to manage changes and rally the team to deliver to tight deadlines.
- Possibility thinking and Lean mindset.
- Thorough understanding of Lean, continuous improvement and problem solving techniques.
