HMC RADIOLOGY has an outstanding opportunity to recruit several variable shift IMAGING TECHNOLOGISTs. Under the direction of the Radiology Supervisor, Lead Technologist, Radiologist, or other Physician, this individual will perform skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. Additionally, the person in this role will provide the appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure and exercises responsible judgment in recognizing and reporting significant situations relating to patient care.

Competitive candidates will participate in the Department QA and QC functions by assisting in the collection of data, and making recommendations as to problems and possible solutions and assist in the orientation of new staff, technologist, researchers, and students to the Radiology.   
 
Requirements: 

Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school and eligible for registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Registery completed before completion of probationary period OR equivalent education/experience.

Registered as an X-Ray Technician or Certified as a Radiologic Technologist by the State of Washington.

If not already, certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist, before completion of probationary period.
REQUIREMENTS:
