ICRM Compliance Analyst - Data Quality Analyst

**Business Overview:**

The Compliance Chief Data Office oversees the end-to-end data landscape, including data governance, standards, controls, metrics, risk management, and issue management, for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM). Objectives include improving data governance and management, increasing business and functional engagement, improving data comprehensiveness, ensuring data quality and coverage, reducing the inventory of data issues, and accelerating data acquisition for new projects. Key responsibilities including driving compliance with Citi policy/standards and adoption of data governance capabilities and coordinating Compliance initiatives with the enterprise data program.

**Job Purpose:**

The primary focus of the ICRM Data Quality Analyst role is to manage the identification and intake of new potential Data Quality Concerns / Data Quality Exception (DQE) for Compliance NAM.

The process includes reviewing and dispositioning potential data quality issues (i.e., data exceptions or data concerns) via a triage process with relevant stakeholders and accurately capturing the disposition outcomes in the central repository. The goal is to ensure data quality exceptions/concerns that are considered material are escalated to the enterprise process for data quality issue tracking, currently the Issue Management & Resolution (IMR) platform, migrating to the future Data Concerns Remediation (DCR) platform. This role will be responsible for tracking the aging of data concerns and associated escalations.

In addition, this role will assist with oversight of the regional data quality issues program with the objective of improving data quality and comprehensiveness, reducing the inventory of issues and improving cycle times to fix and remediate data issues.

This position sits within the Compliance Chief Data Office which is a part of the ICRM Cross Enterprise & Chief Operating Office function.

**Key Activities:**

Key activities include:

+ Coordinating the data quality exception/concern intake and investigation process including engagement with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely dispositioning.

+ Identifying tickets for review and preparing meeting materials.

+ Capturing and publishing the meeting minutes.

+ Capturing the results of the dispositions accurately in the central repository.

+ Following up with various teams to ensure timely completion of dispositions.

+ Tracking of aged tickets and identifying / highlighting items for escalation.

+ Generate reporting on metrics and issue aging analysis.

+ Assisting with the general oversight of the regional data quality issue management program.

+ Leading the regional migration to the new Data Concern Remediation (DCR) platform and processes.


Education and Experience:

+ Required: Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in Technology, Data Science, Finance or like field of study

+ Preferred: Experience in compliance

**Knowledge and Skills:**

+ 2-5 years of experience with a solid understanding of Banking (Compliance preferred).

+ 2-5 years of experience in technology or data management.

+ Ability working in a complex corporate environment and successfully overseeing multiple projects.

+ Solid project management and organizational skills and commitment to quality and attention to detail.

+ Ability to communicate concisely and effectively both verbally and in writing

+ Strong inter-personal and relationship management skills.

+ Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
