**VP, ICAAP Stress Testing Process Manager (C13)**

You will be joining the ICAAP Centre of Excellence that leads the way in setting the EMEA ICAAP framework and standards in line with the strategic target operating model to enhance governance, processes, models and controls. This drive for enhanced standards and sophistication extends into the capital management process with scenario and stress testing processes.

As a senior professional you will be responsible for managing the front to end stress testing process from scenario generation to aggregation for UK entities under PRA regulation and other European entities under EBA regulation coordinating across different functions in Risk, Finance and IT.

You will take ownership for the execution of stress testing, and the generation of stress results for the ICAAP reports including reviews and approvals. In this role you are also expected to provide structure and implement efficient processes to meet ICAAP submissions to the respective regulators.

**In this position you will use and expand your experience and professional skills for the following responsibilities:**

+ Lead the coordination of the execution of stress testing activities for risk (RWA and losses) for major legal entities across EMEA

+ Collaborate across a variety of functions, primarily in Finance, Risk and IT to generate scenarios and stress results as an input into the ICAAP reports for UK and other European entities

+ Provide strong project management by providing clear deliverables, structure and project plans, leading daily progress meetings and weekly working groups, tracking progress and RAID logs, and providing updates to senior stakeholders and status reports to the wider projects and programmes

+ Ability to manage different priorities and limitations across entities and the Group

+ Good understanding of stress testing and bank processes, and controls, and risk methodologies (counterparty credit risk, CVA, market risk, credit risk etc.)

+ Lead the quarterly and annual stressed capital forecasting. Be part of the team creating standardised processes for MLEs and non-MLEs with effective controls

+ Be responsible to refine and support the execution of controls for the front to end stress testing processes

+ Ability to understand and challenge stress results

+ Prepare decks for presentation in management meetings including the Capital Forum, the ALCO and the Board

+ Good understanding of European regulations and current developments including PRA and EBA (e.g. SREP, Stress Testing, Pillar 2, ICAAP)

+ Engage stakeholders including project sponsors and project managers, country CFOs/Controllers, CROs/Risk, regional managers, and Technology seniors as required

+ Appropriately assess risks and issues and ensure timely and effective escalation

+ Bring new ideas to the table for the benefit of Citi and propose implementation solutions

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the Banks reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

**The ideal candidate for this position possesses the following qualifications and skills:**

+ 8+ years of work experience as a project manager in risk or finance within a financial institution

+ Good project management skills ideally gained in an international and global financial institution

+ Good knowledge of at least one Pillar 1 risk is essential. Knowledge of non-Pillar 1 risks (e.g. IRRBB, concentration or pension) would be beneficial

+ Experience with ICAAP and stress testing

+ Strong communicator both written and verbal

+ Interpersonal skills, ability to manage stakeholder relationships across various levels of seniority using the English language; ability to make and/or facilitate decisions

+ Strong MS Office and Word skills

+ Enthusiastic team player and at the same time a self-starter

+ Ability to manage deadlines under pressure and unexpected changes

+ Good analytical skills and structural approach and thinking; ability to pay attention to detail

+ Efficient and effective time management, and proven organisational skills

+ Proven track record of having completed projects / tasks within tight deadlines
