What You'll Do

Are you ready to come work on a team leading one of the most exciting technologies in the Cisco Data Center Portfolio? As a Sales and Strategy Specialist on the World Wide HyperFlex team, you will drive HX sales in one of the fastest growing areas in Ciscos portfolio. This role involves working with and providing thought leadership, as well as industry insights, to local sales leaders, account teams, data center teams, and channels resources to build sales plans for HX, execute and close opportunities. This team touches all aspects of the HX go to market including eco-partners and internal education on HX solutions and ultimately is accountable for the HX sales across Commercial or Enterprise markets.


Who You'll Work With

You will work with an HX team of specialists responsible for an annual revenue quota tied to HyperFlex with significant growth opportunity in FY20. Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that maximize Cisco's opportunity within the customer environment and maximize our partners profit. Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting and delivering on quota. Extended team enablement and indirect influence with account teams will comprise a large portion of this assignment and you should have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.

Regional travel is required, but is not likely to exceed 30% of the time.


Who You Are

You are passionate about the customer experience and excited about new technology. You are a true teammate and love to learn. You have strong experience working cross-functionally across Cisco sales and sales engineering teams. Executive-level communication, experience in launching new solutions, go to market execution, and building customer and partner relationships are a requirement. You possess strategic technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment.

You have:

  • 8+ years of sales experience in a technical sales organization that includes account managers and systems engineers.
  • Experience in sales/consulting/business development in data center technologies, applications, hyperconvergence, virtualization, and/or storage.
