Job Description

Being a part of HR at Intel requires you to be bold, creative, take risks, and bring your best possibility thinking to every challenge. The HRM will be a strategic business partner to executive and senior leadership within the Office of the Chief Technical Officer (OCTO) and will lead and partner with a global account team to support the organizations within OCTO, primarily Intel Labs. This value will be built on creating a foundation that factors in elements of organizational development, talent management, change management, organizational design, and creating business cases to prove out organizational initiatives and projects.

The ideal candidate must also have:

  • Business consulting skills: Demonstrated stakeholder management, leadership, executive presence, and communications skills along with collaboration across management levels.

  • Interpersonal communications skills, including influencing and encouraging evolution.

  • Skills to coach, mentor, and advise where appropriate to help employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals.

  • Skills to remain calm in difficult and ambiguous situations. Influence: Demonstrated skills to influence senior business leaders at all levels of the organization and influence and partner with functions across HR.

  • Relationship Development and Management: Build trusting relationships that allow you to provide both practical and strategic guidance.

  • Be known as a collaborative team player who puts the team ahead of self.

  • Systems thinking: Demonstrated skills to connect seemingly disparate information and stitch it together in a coherent set of considerations and actions to be taken.

  • Expertise in developing solutions based upon facts/data analytics. Business acumen: Intel strategy, business, and product groups.

  • Understanding of Intel business and its business groups' main goals and challenges; experience and knowledge of how Intel operates globally.

  • HR, Finance, and Legal acumen: Processes, systems, precedence, and best practices. Assess issues in the context of an organization's processes, structures, and capabilities to develop holistic organization responses.

  • Organization and Talent Design: Understand the connection between the organization's structure, process, rewards, metrics, and talent and how they impact the strategy of the business.

  • Ask the appropriate questions to assess the business and clarify underlying causes from symptoms.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field with 6+ years relevant experience; or M.B.A, Master of Science degree, or a Master of Arts degree or related with 4+ years relevant experience.

  • 4+ years of experience working with senior management and the executive population.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
