HRSS Ops Sup Sr Analyst - Compensation (AVP / C12)

The Ops Sup Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes. The candidate will be a member of the HRSS Global Compensation team supporting the Global Compensation system platforms. Working closely with the senior compensation specialists across all Citi businesses and geographies, the candidate will need to partner to deliver timely and accurate operational support and data analysis to a variety of compensation processes.


+ Lead and support year-round compensation process operations from recommendation planning through reporting for off-cycle and year-end compensation processes, meeting established Service Level Agreements.

+ Provide HRIS data quality analysis to ensure compensation data is accurate and timely. Liaise with HRSS and Citi Shared Services Information Services global partners and global compensation to resolve any data discrepancies and/or data feed issues impacting compensation processes.

+ Partner with businesses to facilitate compensation process enhancements and provide training and ongoing support to the compensation teams. Leverage HRSS Regional infrastructure, to enhance local support services.

+ Partner with the technical development team with responsibility for support activities.

+ Perform in-depth evaluation of basic operations and business processes, family procedures, and industry standards for business supported to identify and resolve complex problems

+ Influence decisions through advice and counsel as well as facilitate services to others in area

+ Serve as an analytical and/or procedural expert, representing a unit or team on cross function operational processes and project deliverables

+ Liaises with multiple teams across the Operations department

+ Coordinate and contribute to initiatives that support the goals of the Operations function and overall business

+ Assume informal and formal leadership role within team as well as coach and train new recruits

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


+ 5-8 years of relevant experience

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office

+ Strong analytical skill set and affinity for metrics and data required.

+ Ability and experience working in a fast paced, high pressure environment

+ Ability to work concurrently on multiple priorities.

+ Ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt quickly to changing client needs.

+ Proven organization and time management skills

+ Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to build and cultivate positive client relationships in complex organizations.

+ Previous experience with systems or affinity for technology is a plus.

+ Understanding of Compensation function a plus.


+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
