What you'll do

This role owns the overall support process and activities for all IT systems for HR, Legal and Compliance. This role owns and is accountable for ensuring the business can run daily tasks, SLAs met against operational commitments, and effectively balancing competing objectives. This role will manage the communication with key business stakeholders and coordinate with technical resources to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement working closely with Danaher Corporate teams where required.

  • Own and be accountable for ensuring all HR, Legal & Compliance applications are available and functioning for Business.
  • Understand high level business processes for HR, Legal & Compliance systems, interfaces to and from these systems and be familiar with the architecture, overall setups and configurations across these systems.
  • Own monitoring and reporting of these applications, leveraging a consistent tool and approach.
  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary teams in resolution of high-profile outages/application incidents leveraging contingent worker support team and internal supporting organizations.
  • Own and is accountable for pertinent contingent workers access and work prioritization.
  • Proactively identifies and removes obstacles or barriers on behalf of the teams.
  • Demonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions and dynamics in Agile teams.
  • Uses disciplined approaches to monitor application platform and service progress via effective information dashboards for operational metrics, defect, quality, change control, and compliance.
  • Uses data, practical knowledge and innovative insights to drive timely decisions, determine appropriate courses of action, and forecast future needs while managing risk and uncertainty for the team.
  • Beyond driving day-to-day operational tempos and rigor, participates in activities for strategic business rhythms including Application Architecture and Roadmaps for the coming year.
  • Ensure CMDB accuracy for owned applications, maintaining information of their instances, infrastructure used and aligned support groups.
  • Setup and drive proper incidents management process.
  • Drive security vulnerabilities remediation for owned applications.
  • Creates a culture of business focus and high performance to drive innovation through continuous business stakeholder engagement to facilitate appropriate application upgrades and enhancements.
  • Navigates through ambiguity, prioritizes conflicting asks and shows ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrates skills in collaborating with different stakeholders, influencing decisions and an ability to take strategic view.


    Who you are

    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or €œSTEM€ Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent knowledge or work experience. 
    • A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions. Exhibits creativity and new ways of thinking when contributing to organizational and individual objectives.
    • Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills. Strong influencing and collaboration skills. Uses critical thinking skills and disciplined approaches to help resolve issues and define solutions.


      Workday knowledge. ITIL operational knowledge and/or certification. A minimum of 3 years of IT professional experience. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to a fast and dynamic environment. Ability to effectively translate between functional and technical teams. Ability to follow procedures and produce/maintain supporting documentation Excellent written in English. Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management. Adapts readily to changes in workload, staffing and scheduling.
