Allina Health Home Oxygen & Medical Equipment (HOME) offers oxygen and medical equipment solutions to help keep patients safe, comfortable and independent in their own home. With headquarters located in St. Paul, Minn., services are provided in 42 Minnesota counties, western Wisconsin and northern Iowa 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the coordination of all of the branch activities, ranging from the organization of the office, managing the data necessary for the branch, maintaining proper documentation of services, and also aiding in any set up of any equipment for pick-ups and walk-in clients. This position will bring efficiency and continuity to established policies and procedures.

Education

High school graduate

Qualification/Skills

  • 1-2 yrs experience in a Call Center/Phone Center environment
  • 1-2 yrs demonstrated expertise in the area of customer service.
  • 1-2 yrs experience with medical insurance/billing/diagnosis codes experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Professional telephone manner with strong verbal skills and ability to communicate and respond in courteous manner with attention, respect and sincerity to a wide variety of people.
  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently. Work in a team atmosphere to service the customers.
  • Proven ability to multi task and prioritize a variety of tasks and information. Process and manage a variety of tasks.
  • Self-directed and ability to recognize errors and troubleshoot issues.
  • Excellent PC skills with the ability to learn new programs quickly. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and use of the internet.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with Durable Medical Equipment Industry
  • Knowledge of proper documentation and reimbursement practices
  • Previous Retail and/or sales experience.
  • Present positive, professional image
  • Results oriented with ability to interrelate as a team member to a variety and diverse population of individuals.
Ability to work with a system mindset.

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours a week
  • Day shifts (typically Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00)
  • No weekends currently required
  • Non-contract
  • Benefit eligible

Position located at St. Paul HOM location with the occasional site visit to Abbott Northwestern, United and/or Mercy Hospitals.
