Yelp is seeking a proven B2B marketing leader to lead overall marketing strategy and execution for our restaurants vertical. As Head of Marketing for Restaurants, you will drive adoption and engagement of our restaurant SaaS products and help strengthen Yelps market position as the go-to partner for local restaurants and diners everywhere. You will be responsible for overall marketing strategy and prioritization including segment strategy, demand & lead generation, digital marketing, field marketing, sales enablement, and product marketing. Where You Come In:

  • You will drive inbound qualified lead growth
  • You will improve outbound target account qualified Lead-to-Closed-Won rate
  • You will increase Average Contract Value for restaurant clients 
  • You will work with product marketing, sales, account management, product to clearly define target restaurant segments, Yelp value prop, and relevant product mix for target segments. 
  • You will own & drive marketing strategy & operating plan.  Set quarterly targets & size/prioritize initiatives.
  • You will drive weekly results accountability (tracking weekly w/ leads) & next actions to stay on track
  • You will build & manage a world-class SaaS marketing team (mix of direct & matrixed reports)
  • You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders across the organization including product, sales & account management, and central marketing functions

  • Monetization
  • You will drive restaurant activation and monetization of new & existing products across multiple channels, including outbound and inbound sales to top local restaurants, as well as multi-location restaurant chains
  • You will optimize pricing, packaging, bundling across Yelps multiple restaurant offerings (Waitlist, Reservations, Advertising, Connect, Enhanced Profiles)

  • Inbound
  • You will drive inbound lead growth and qualified sales lead growth through lead generation programs
  • You will oversee top-to-bottom demand generation needs, including digital marketing, marketing automation, and reporting
  • You will build marketing technical stack to support SaaS marketing needs, in close partnership with our internal Marketing Operations team

  • Sales Enablement
  • You will develop effective account based marketing tactics to engage target accounts alongside field sales in priority markets 
  • You will develop sales enablement content and cost-effective programs to warm up qualified leads

  • Consumer / Diner
  • You will drive consumer awareness & usage of Yelp waitlist and reservations via in-Restaurant marketing
  • You will devise diner lifecycle marketing programs to drive consumer awareness, trial and repeat usage, via in-app, marketing channels, and in-restaurant touchpoints
  • You will explore restaurant/diner loyalty or rewards mechanics to reinforce customer frequency

Where You Come In:

  • You have 10-15+ years of B2B marketing experience - SMB experience preferred
  • You have experience scaling a high growth SaaS startup or growth company
  • You have proven experience managing and developing high-performing teams - an inspiring leader
  • You are highly quantitative and analytical with a results-driven mindset
  • You are a strong collaborator and influencer with cross-functional teams
  • You have the ability to work through ambiguity using a test & learn approach to build toward scale
  • You are a creative problem solver with the ability to challenge normal and execute on new playbooks
  • You have a strong understanding of a two-sided marketplace business model
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, able to organize information in a high level way to communicate key points to partners
