**Overview of the Role**


The **Global Demand Management and Governance Director** will be a partner helping to drive operational excellence and to run technology as a business for Personal Banking and Wealth Management. He or she will be responsible for planning, analysis, and reporting of global book of work, while implementing best-in-class processes, metrics and practices. The leader in this role will drive demand management governance across all regions to achieve defined future state in a consistent manner, provide oversight of all regional needs, identifying opportunities to align to best practices, and demand management tools support the business, technology and finance needs and objectives, assuring standard, consistent and traceable data.


**Objective**


Streamline the Personal Banking and Wealth Management Technology book of work governance to ensure continued alignment to priorities while enabling insights driven decision making.


+ Drive and evolve governance of demand management governance across all regions to achieve defined future state in a consistent manner across regions

+ Provide oversight of all regional needs, partnering with regions and identifying opportunities to align best practices

+ Ensure global demand management tools support the business, technology and finance needs and objectives through leadership of the Demand Workstream for projects

+ Ensure data within systems of record are accurate, consistent and traceable for use in standard reporting across systems containing investment and project data including leading the global taxonomy transformation

+ Drive partnership with stakeholders across the business, technology, global functions and regions, ensuring alignment and visibility to global priorities through continuous engagement and centralization

+ Lead global coordination of the book of work annual planning as the single point of contact for our stakeholders, ensuring alignment to firms priorities

+ Define execution strategy and determine timelines in close partnership with PBWMT Finance to deliver book of work with annual plan and outlook/MYF updates

+ Ensure technology-driven investments are incorporated in the book of work to encompass technology innovation initiatives and to maintain compliance of current systems

+ Define, implement and oversee new process to manage outlook through new tools, driving PBWMT to standardization with other sectors, implementing across all regions

+ Manage change to the book of work aligning to outlook and MYF to adapt to evolving business priorities and needs, assuring efforts are driven in coordination across organizations

+ Provide robust data, holistic views and meaningful insights to enable data driven and timely decisions around existing and new investments for the PBWM business


+ Drive efficient operations across PBWMT through the operating rhythm, executive reporting and coordination activities


+ Provide central coordination as well as executive support and planning of all Demand Management, PTS, and financial functions

+ Ensure appropriate standards are defined across key processes to drive proactive planning and execution

+ Create a seamless high-value capability for streamlined reporting and analytics


+ Focus on driving adoption for report automation to eliminate redundancies and standardize reporting execution across PBWMT


**Qualifications**


The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of business priorities across the globe and formulate a global optimization delivery structure. Ensure that the organization is defining and implementing processes that are aligned with the strategy and goals.


+ 15+ years relevant work experience, including experience leading large, cross-functional teams across business and program management, financials and risk & control

+ Knowledge of technology investment planning, prioritization, demand management, and agile are a plus

+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results-oriented

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Exceptional strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision-making skills

+ Leadership skills: individual leadership, change leadership, mentorship, motivation, coaching and development, and the ability to galvanize the support of others where possible

+ Highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to embrace change without frustration

+ Self-directed, motivated and managed; ability to deal with imperfect information, decision and drive to successful conclusions

+ Ability to handle constant pressure and juggle multiple demands

+ Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and geographies

+ Demonstrated experience evaluating and driving safe, sound processes through review, evaluation, and management of effective controls

+ Strong risk management and ability to look beyond to the next set of challenges

+ Excellent organization skills; must be able to manage disparate tasks, project plans and ad-hoc teams without solid lines of authority

+ Strong analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills - must have ability to synthesize, develop and present clear and concise recommendations

+ Possess uncompromising ethics, unwavering integrity and understanding of risk & regulatory process, as well as outstanding communications and interpersonal skills

+ Familiarity with the major line of business activities within a large global financial institution. Broad financial expertise with knowledge of corporate affairs, financial and economic fundamentals, and business policies, products, processes, systems and roles
