The Personal Banker Manager is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to grow sales and client base in coordination with the consumer sales team. The overall objective of this role is to grow sales, build customer loyalty and recommend the development of business strategies or initiatives and may include the management of activities by external organizations, and the direct management of individuals and sales teams.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Oversee a portfolio of key accounts, develop integrated sales/credit strategies and identify opportunities to cross-sell products offered while achieving individual sales revenue, asset and liability targets set by the department

+ Acquire borrowing and non-borrowing customers with lending propositions in the areas of trade finance, working capital loans, treasury hedging solutions and cash management

+ Develop and execute integrated sales/credit strategies to achieve desired revenue, expense and service goals

+ Assist in the hiring process, coordinate performance management, compensation, communication and employee evaluation of branch staff

+ Set expectations for staff, fostering a motivating environment in which team members work together to achieve business goals

+ Integrate segment partners (e.g. Commercial and Small Business, Home Lending, Financial Advisors, Citigold) to drive sales and ensure that client expectations are met

+ Ensure the compliance of the operation and business objectives through the proper administration of resources and the processes defined by the business

+ Drive outbound sales activities including building partnerships in the community, referral relationships with internal and external contacts

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


**Qualifications:**


+ 2-5 years of relevant experience

+ Previous experience in sales function, banking or financial business required

+ Previous management experience preferred

+ Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales plan

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


**Education:**


+ Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Citi has entered into an agreement with DBS to acquire its consumer bank in Taiwan which includes credit cards, loans, retail banking, and wealth management. The sale is expected to complete in July 2023 . As this is a role to work in Citis consumer bank, the successful candidate will initially be employed by Citi, but on sale completion, their employment will transfer to DBS that will employ Citis consumer bank employees, prior to their transfer to DBS.
