In this Hand Therapy position you will use your physical therapy expertise to work with hand surgeons, PAs, OTs and MAs. This busy fast-paced clinic's typical acute conditions treated are distal humerus to finger tip fractures, tendon lacerations, nerve or ligament injuries, and arthritis utilizing splinting, wound care and manual therapy skills. You will work 3 days in Federal Way and 2 days in our downtown clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
  • 6 Month Clinical Internship.
  • WA State Department of Health Physical Therapist Licensure.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Staff Level II - Minimum of 1 year work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Staff Level II - FTE status of 0.5 or greater. 
  • Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, wound healing, and disease progression; an understanding of the base components, both physical and cognitive, of ADLs (assisted daily living) and levels of ADL independence; the ability to customize, adapt, and graduate to a home or work site environment or to adapt to a given treatment plan and equipment; and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. 

    Hand Therapy Certification strongly preferred.
