Directly and through a professional staff, oversee the strategic product and relationship management for a major co-brand product line or a group of related product line(s) in support of the organizations goals and market needs. Responsible for meeting product profit and growth goals. Oversee the product development, product positioning, and Recommends revisions and enhancements to product line(s) to stimulate sales and meet objectives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Fosters a professional business acumenand relationship management practice with external co-branded clients underdirect management 2. Manages a staff of professional productmanagers, guiding performance expectations and ongoing development 3. Develops marketing plan and productline objectives; including strategy and tactics; ensuring consistency withorganization and business line objectives and goals and meeting product profitand growth goals. 4. Communicates regularly with co-brandedclients; creates ongoing program strategies, reports program performance,fosters alliance to manage to common growth goals 5. Manages and/ or interacts withapplicable Network Associations to develop and market co-branded promotions,events, and initiatives 6. Manages design, development,implementation and enhancement of new or existing products that supportorganization and business line objectives. 7. Manages the monthly forecastingexercise for new acquisitions and key profit and loss portfolio measurements 8. Manages a monthly and annual marketingbudget focused on expense optimization and accurate forecasting 9. Develops and reports monthly and annualkey program data with external co-brand clients under direct management.Focuses on gaps and key opportunities andworks in conjunction with clients to create strategic initiatives to optimizeportfolio metrics. 10. Managesthe on-going program initiatives to track, monitor and analyze productperformance, profitability and contribution. 11. Managesthe development of collateral material, advertising, promotional programs,sales incentive training programs, operational procedures and other meaningfultactics to successfully promote the program products and services. 12. Providesassistance to management and Business development teams on contracts, renewals,and other pertinent program changes 13. Reviewsstrategic product and market perspectives; evaluating long term effects andanticipating changes, reports data to external clients 14. Ensuresproducts meet state and Federal regulatory requirements and coordinates legal andcompliance review of all supporting collateral materials and documentation. 15. Recommendshires, transfers, terminations, salary adjustments, performance standards andreviews.Approves employee time records,work assignments, vacations, sick pay, etc. **Qualifications:** Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - 10 or more years of product management experience - Four or more years of managerial experience Preferred Skills/Experience Strong product management, design and development skills. Excellent knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis. Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills. Advanced marketing and marketing research skills. Thorough knowledge of competitive market, operations and various products and services within assigned area. Well-developed oral and written communication skills ability to present compelling strategies to co-brand clients and commander collaborative discussions. Strong financial and competitive analysis and computer/presentation skills. Strong managerial and verbal and written communication skills.
