Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is seeking a Group Product Manager to join its Digital Platforms Group, which is responsible for software-based products and services that expand and enhance the capabilities of the FreeStyle Libre platform, the world’s #1 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and advance the strategy and roadmap for ADC’s Digital Health Tools, which currently includes two mobile medical apps and a cloud-based service
  • Identify and prioritize unmet user needs, and translate them into product requirements
  • Collaborate with product designers to define and realize the total user experience
  • Plan and execute formative design research and usability testing
  • Collaborate with software engineering to implement and test new features and/or products
  • Train internal stakeholders on new features and/or products
  • Collaborate with product marketing to produce promotional and/or educational content
  • Provide on-market product support to Global Commercial Operations
  • Drive the use of advanced analytics to generate (1) deep insights about product utilization and (2) real-world outcomes data
  • Lead two or more product managers to deliver the product roadmap and achieve business objectives

    Minimum Education/Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree with 6 years’ experience or MBA with at least 4 years of related experience

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Digital product experience, ideally with cloud-based services
      • Strong presentation and communication skills, proactive and resourceful with a “can do” attitude
      • Innovative and able to think open, broadly and strategically
      • Strong analytical skills able to draw conclusions from data, management information and trends
      • Enjoys responding quickly and influencing people to deliver
      • Sound time management skills, ensuring that work is produced to agreed deadlines and high standards
      • Highly organized, focused and committed to achieving goals
      • Thrives under pressure with tight deadlines on several initiatives simultaneously
      • Understanding of delivering digital products in a regulated environment
