Group Manager- Specialized Analytics

The Business Analytics Grp Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas. Leads and directs a team of professionals. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. Applies in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions. Excellent commercial awareness is a necessity. Generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.

Leads business operations, supporting the Head of the Franchise Partner Analytics Organization in the day-to-day oversight and execution of business priorities. Focus is on management of business operations to hit operating commitments, manage budget, headcount/recruiting, communications, talent evolution, prioritization process, and effective communication to senior leadership. Strategic Priorities Lead is accountable for collating information from complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas and many times confidential information, impacting Citi Retail Services and the broader Citi Franchise. This requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple functional areas and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. The candidate will need to demonstrate a track record of analytical problem solving, ability to prioritize and think strategically, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and most importantly be a strong operator. Due to the breadth of the role, the successful candidate will be a flexible, results-orientated individual with the ability to deal with ambiguity and a diverse range of businesses and information. The role demands a strong work ethic, and the individual should have a high level of integrity to deal with highly confidential data and be able to demonstrate initiative.

**Key responsibilities include:**

+ Strong operator is key - Track to goals and ensure focus of priorities is aligned to goals

+ Assist in assessing resources for high priority (alpha) initiatives

+ Point of contact for SLT requests, and leads rapid response team to provide answers and insights.

+ Point of contact for team communications, optimizing meetings and reinforcing a culture of celebrating accomplishments

+ Management of department budget, including vendor management of contracts

+ Manage team headcount/recruiting, creating hiring efficiencies and assisting with employee immigration needs

+ Create efficiencies across internal teams and the wider USPBA teams to create an evolving, growing team that can concentrate on profitable growth


+ 10+ years of experience

+ Experience in financial services, analytics, operations

+ Ability in strategic thinking and the ability to frame business problems

+ Excellent analytical, technical and/or statistical skills with proven ability to translate large volumes of data

+ An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders

+ Intellectually curious, consistently seeking and developing new opportunities

+ Market research experience.


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
