Citi technology are seeking a highly motivated front office IT professional to work in our Global Spread Product (GSP) Production Services team support group in the New York office.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about technology, but who possesses Global Spread Products (GSP) or Fixed Income business knowledge. You will significantly impact both our traders and technology support teams. You will be responsible for managing a New York based Service Desk team (5+ individuals directly) in addition to supporting our sales and trading business.


The GSP Support team is responsible for the production environment for a wide range of applications ranging from Pricing, Risk management, E-trading, Sales tools, to Risk and PNL consolidation, providing application support to our Credit and Securitized Mortgages Trading and Sales Businesses.


We work in partnership with the business running the application production platform, providing quick resolutions to their issues, drive stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.

The role will entail working closely with senior business partners, developing application knowledge, driving and tracking projects around stability and service improvement, incident resolution and follow-up activities and providing strategic technical solutions. You will develop detailed knowledge of the Credit and Fixed Income Spread Product trading businesses. You will be working closely with your counterparts in London, North America and Asia operating in a follow-the-sun global model, along with application developers and business analysts in the team.


**Key Responsibilities:**


**Required Skills/Experience**

Extensive experience with application support is critical

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, great teammate.

UNIX (AIX/ Linux) environment

Databases - Oracle, Microsoft SQL.

Knowledge on Geneos ITRS monitoring would be an added advantage or any other monitoring based platform.

ECS, AWS and cloud computing would be preferable

Exposure with Flink and AppDynamics preferable

Scripting and automation experience.


Bachelor's Degree


**Additional Responsibilities:**


+ The Apps Support Tech Lead Analyst is responsible to partner with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements; analyze existing system logic, identify problems; and recommend and implements solutions.

+ Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support.

+ Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards; documents requirements.

+ Partners with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.

+ Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements

+ Considers the implications of the application of technology to the current environment.

+ Identifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options.

+ Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.

+ Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

+ Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.

+ Persuades and influences others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills

+ Performs other duties and functions as assigned

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
