Job summary
Amazon Web Services Training and Certification (T&C) team is looking for a Sr. Global Operations Program Manager to manage Training Operation programs for the T&C Org. You will work closely with T&C senior leadership and stakeholders to establish best practices, procedural rigor, operational and process improvements, and analytical insights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping, evangelizing, and day-to-day management of our Training Operation programs working cross-functionally with AWS teams around the world.

This role requires an individual with strong program management background with experience successfully owning and leading medium to large global programs. Candidate will work with stakeholders and multiple business teams to identify, define, and specify solutions meeting customers' needs. Candidate will be the face and voice for the project teams and ensure all stakeholders are aware of successes, risks, and project status. The role requires strong ability to earn trust, as well as work cross-functionally across the organization.

Open to candidates within reasonable distance of any AWS U.S. Corporate Office location. Relocation assistance available within the U.S..

Key job responsibilities

· Build strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders and customers to drive roadmap and program to completion across multiple organizations and teams
· Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to educate and evangelize Training Operation programs
· Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities
· Own and manage program metrics, leadership updates, business requirements for programs, and global operational guidelines and processes
· Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
· Collect, analyze, and review quantitative data and make recommendations to senior leadership on a path forward as a result
· Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process to meet program objectives
· Establish scalable, efficient, and automated data processes
· Participate on special projects as needed
